Poetry reading at The Troubadour, London 08 Mar 2016

Anne-Marie Fyfe invited me to read tonight at The Troubadour., the theme was The Sea, The Sea.

I wrote a poem two weeks ago, the subject matter of which is deep and all consuming, so I called it Ocean and read that. It was my first time reading it and it couldn't have been a more receptive audience. The basement at The Troubadour was packed. Such a beautiful variety of other poems were read. Ron Villanueva had a really stirring performance that gave me shivers. And Miranda Peake read a really interesting, provocative poem. Alway so grateful to be invited down by Anne Marie.
